Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who handles it, and how to have it changed or deleted.

Who we are

SportsLink Pro is a service that builds recruiting websites and private recruiting hubs for softball and baseball players. SportsLink Pro and sportslinkpro.online are owned and operated by ProfitLink Pro Ltd., a digital marketing and technology firm based in Henderson, Nevada ("we", "us").

This policy covers sportslinkpro.online, the recruiting sites and recruiting hubs we build and host for customers, and our own marketing. If you have a separate written agreement with us, it applies alongside this policy.

Players and parents

Most players we build for are high school students, which means many are under 18. We take that seriously:

• Only a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 may buy SportsLink Pro and set up a site for a player. That adult is our customer and controls the player's information.
• Nothing about a player goes on a public recruiting site until the parent or guardian approves it.
• We never publish a player's home address, class schedule or personal phone number. Public contact details are the family's, the player's recruiting email, and their coaches'.
• The marketing pages on sportslinkpro.online are directed at parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will delete it.
• A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to see, correct, unpublish or delete their player's information.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Questions and sign-up forms: your name, email, phone, sport, your player's graduation year, and anything you write.
• Purchases: your name, email, phone and billing details. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store full card numbers.
• Building the recruiting site: what you choose to share about your player, such as name, photos, video clips, positions, stats, measurements, school, team, graduation year, GPA and other academic details, honors, schedule, and the contact details you want shown.
• Using the recruiting hub: what your player and family enter, such as the colleges on the list and notes about them, coach contacts and a log of communications, camp and event plans, scholarship applications, workout logs, training measurements and how the player's arm feels after a session.
• Correspondence: emails, texts and voicemails you send us.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, approximate region, browser and device type, and operating system.
• Pages viewed, time on page, the referring site, and the ad or link that brought you.
• Cookies and similar identifiers set by us and by the advertising providers listed below.
• The recruiting hub keeps a sign-in token and simple settings (such as dark mode) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in on your own device.

Information from public sources

To build and update the hub, we gather publicly available information about colleges and their athletic programs, such as coaching staff listed on official athletics websites, camp dates, rosters, program records and scholarship details from sponsors' own pages.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and process your purchase.
• To build, host, update and support your player's recruiting site and recruiting hub.
• To send service messages, such as setup steps, reminders and account notices.
• To send marketing email where you have agreed to it, and to stop when you opt out.
• To measure which ads and pages are working.
• To keep records required for tax, accounting, consent and dispute purposes.
• To protect our sites against fraud, spam and abuse.

We do not sell personal information, and we never use a player's information to advertise to that player.

What is public and what is private

The recruiting site is public by design. Its job is to be found by college coaches, so anything you approve for it can be seen by anyone with the link and may be found through search engines, unless you ask us to keep it out of search results.

The recruiting hub is private. It sits behind passwords: one for the player and one for the family. The player's private notes are hidden from the family login. Training measurements stay private unless the player chooses to show a specific number on the public site.

Please keep hub passwords to yourselves. Anyone who has a password can see what that login can see.

Calls, texts and email

We may call, text or email you about a request you made or a service you bought. We do not run a text message marketing program. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

Cookies and tracking

• Essential: needed for forms, sign-in and basic site function.
• Advertising: the Meta pixel on sportslinkpro.online, which lets us measure ad performance and show follow-up ads to people who visited the site. We do not place advertising pixels inside the private recruiting hub.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Advertising preferences can also be managed in your Meta account settings. We honor Global Privacy Control and similar browser opt-out signals where our systems receive them.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run SportsLink Pro, and only for that purpose:

• HighLevel (GoHighLevel): our customer records, checkout, email and text messages.
• Payment processors, such as Stripe: card payments.
• Netlify: hosting for sportslinkpro.online, the recruiting sites and the recruiting hubs, including hub data storage.
• Microsoft 365: business email and files.
• Meta Platforms: advertising delivery and measurement for sportslinkpro.online.
• Google: web fonts, and Google services you choose to use with us.
• YouTube: some exercise demonstration videos in the hub are YouTube videos; YouTube's own policies apply when they play.
• Software and AI-assisted tools we use to build and maintain sites, such as code hosting and AI coding assistants. They process content only to help us do that work.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will update this policy before your information becomes subject to a different one.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists. We have not done so in the past twelve months.

How long we keep it

• Questions that do not lead to a purchase: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymized.
• Recruiting site and hub content: while your service is active. When it ends, we unpublish the site and delete hub data within 90 days, after giving you the chance to keep a copy, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Customer and billing records: 7 years after your service ends, for tax and contractual reasons.
• Consent and opt-out records: at least 5 years after consent is withdrawn, so we can show it was honored.

Your choices and your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you or your player.
• Give you a copy of it.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Unpublish your player's recruiting site.
• Delete the information, unless we are required to keep it.
• Stop sending you marketing.

Email mike@profitlinkpro.io or call (805) 222-7095 and we will handle it. We respond within 45 days, and usually much sooner. We may need to confirm who you are before releasing information, usually by checking details you already gave us.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the rights listed above plus the right to know the categories of information collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of recipients, all of which are set out in this policy. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof.

Nevada residents

Nevada law lets residents tell a website operator not to sell their covered personal information. We do not sell it. You can still register that instruction with us at the email address above.

How we protect information

Information is held in access-controlled accounts with major providers, protected by multi-factor authentication and encrypted in transit. Hub passwords are stored as secrets, and access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attack will never succeed. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the dates at the top of the page. We will tell current customers about material changes by email before they take effect.
